The Coffee philosophy in The Den is simple, if you are going to source and make good coffee then do it real justice. The founder's boredom with repetitive coffee chains and their mass-produced coffee blends was one the influences that led them to set up their own coffee house.The Den has its own unique signature blend of coffee that crafted by the owners, baristi, roasters and even the customers who got involved in the final blind taste tests.
The blend is our little gift to the world, a little something show people what coffee can be when it passes through the right set of hands. That's not the end of the coffee experience we offer, we keep an ever changing selection of coffee beans from all over the world, bought from independent micro-roasters as whole roasted beans or on occasion green beans that we roast ourselves. Through this we hope to show you all the tastes and flavours that each bean can posses.
That's not all though good beans do not always mean good coffee, ultimately it is the responsibility of the individual barista who prepares your drink to deliver it. Our baristas are trained to craft coffee to the highest possible standard and using their experience, skill and passion to combine flavours and textures to make creative and unique drinks.
